Modern Cricket Requires Players To Possess A Combination Of Physical Strength, Speed, Agility, Endurance, Flexibility, Coordination, And Explosive Power Along With Technical And Tactical Skills. District -level Cricket Players Represent An Important Stage In The Development Of Athletes, Where Physical Abilities Contribute Significantly To Performance Enhancement And Progression Toward Higher Levels Of Competition. The Present Study Aims To Compare The Physical Fitness And Motor Ability Characteristics Of District-level Cricket Players From West Bengal And Jharkhand. The Study Focuses On Selected Fitness Variables Such As Speed, Agility, Muscular Strength, Endurance, Flexibility, And Explosive Power. Differences In Geographical Conditions, Training Facilities, Coaching Methods, Nutritional Practices, And Playing Exposure May Influence The Physical C Haracteristics Of Athletes From These Two States. A Comparative Analysis Of These Parameters Can Provide Valuable Insights For Coaches, Physical Educators, And Sports Scientists In Developing Scientific Training Programs, Improving Athlete Selection, And Enhancing Performance. The Findings Of The Study May Contribute To Understanding Regional Variations In Physical Fitness Profiles And Support The Systematic Development Of Young Cricket Talent. |
