    Abstract :

This Experimental Investigation Evaluates The Potential For Achieving Low Carbon Emission In The Construction Industry Through The Partial Substitution Of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) With Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs), Specifically Fly Ash (FA), Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), And Rice Husk Ash (RHA). Given That Cement Production Accounts For Approximately 8% Of Global CO₂ Emissions, This Study Focuses On Reducing The Clinker Factor By Utilizing Industrial And Agricultural Byproducts. Experimental Mix Designs Were Developed Using Binary And Ternary Blends To Analyze The Synergistic Effects On Mechanical And Durability Properties. Results Indicate That While Fly Ash Enhances Workability And GGBS Significantly Improves Longterm Compressive Strength, The Addition Of Rice Husk Ash Acts As A High-surface-area Micro-filler, Accelerating Pozzolanic Reactivity And Refining The Pore Structure. The Findings Demonstrate That An Optimized Blend Can Achieve A Carbon Footprint Reduction Of 30% To 60% Without Compromising Structural Integrity. This Research Provides A Sustainable Framework For "Green Concrete" Production, Emphasizing Waste Valorization And The Reduction Of Embodied Energy In Modern Infrastructure.
