Abstract :The Contemporary Corporate Landscape Is Undergoing A Paradigm Shift Driven By Rapid Digitalization, Compelling Organizations To Transition From Traditional Human Resource Practices To Technology-enabled Systems. This Project, Titled Digital Workforce Management: A Study With Reference To Tecumseh, Explores The Implementation, Efficacy, And Impact Of Digital Tools In Managing Human Capital Within A Global Manufacturing Context. As Industries Evolve Toward Industry 4.0, The Integration Of Digital Workforce Management (DWM) Systems—encompassing Automated Attendance Systems (AAS), Cloud-based Payroll, Real-time Performance Tracking, And AI-driven Recruitment—has Become A Strategic Necessity Rather Than A Technological Luxury. The Primary Objective Of This Research Is To Evaluate How Digital Transformation Has Streamlined HR Operations At Tecumseh, Specifically Focusing On Employee Engagement, Operational Transparency, And Administrative Efficiency Between The Period Of 2023 And 2025. The Study Adopts A Descriptive Research Design, Utilizing A Mix Of Primary Data Collected Through Structured Questionnaires From A Sample Of Employees And HR Professionals At Tecumseh, And Secondary Data Sourced From Internal Company Reports And Industry Journals. Preliminary Analysis Indicates That The Shift To Digital Platforms Has Significantly Reduced Manual Errors In Payroll Processing And Improved The Objectivity Of Performance Appraisals. However, The Study Also Highlights Critical Challenges, Including The Digital Divide Among Long-tenured Employees And The Psychological Impact Of Constant Digital Surveillance. The Findings Suggest That While Tecumseh Has Successfully Modernized Its Workforce Infrastructure, There Is A Continuous Need For Digital Literacy Programs And A Balanced Approach Between Automated Processes And Human-centric HR Interventions. This Project Provides A Comprehensive Roadmap For HR Leaders To Leverage Digital Ecosystems To Foster A More Agile, Transparent, And Productive Workforce. |
