Abstract :Microfinance Has Emerged As A Powerful Tool For Promoting Women’s Empowerment, Particularly In Developing Countries Where Access To Formal Financial Services Remains Limited. By Providing Small Loans, Savings Facilities, Insurance Services, And Financial Literacy Programs, Microfinance Institutions Enable Women To Engage In Income-generating Activities, Establish Small Enterprises, And Improve Their Economic Independence. This Study Examines The Role Of Microfinance In Enhancing The Socio-economic Status Of Women By Increasing Their Access To Financial Resources, Improving Decision-making Capabilities, And Fostering Self-confidence. The Research Highlights How Participation In Microfinance Programs Contributes To Poverty Reduction, Employment Generation, Improved Household Welfare, And Greater Participation Of Women In Social And Economic Activities. Furthermore, The Study Explores The Impact Of Microfinance On Education, Healthcare, And Living Standards Of Beneficiaries And Their Families. Despite Challenges Such As High Interest Rates, Limited Financial Literacy, And Repayment Pressures, The Findings Indicate That Microfinance Significantly Contributes To Women’s Financial Inclusion And Empowerment. The Study Concludes That Effective Microfinance Initiatives, Coupled With Skill Development And Entrepreneurial Training, Can Serve As A Catalyst For Sustainable Women’s Empowerment And Inclusive Economic Growth.
