Abstract :Agriculture Is The Backbone Of Many Developing Countries, And Efficient Water And Energy Management Is Essential For Sustainable Farming. The Solar Powered Drip Irrigation System With Automatic Street Light Using Arduino Is Designed To Provide An Eco-friendly And Energy-efficient Solution For Irrigation And Rural Lighting. This System Uses Solar Energy As The Primary Power Source, Reducing Dependence On Conventional Electricity And Minimizing Operational Costs. The Proposed System Integrates A Solar Panel, Rechargeable Battery, Soil Moisture Sensor, Water Pump, Relay Module, Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), And An Arduino Microcontroller. During The Daytime, The Solar Panel Converts Sunlight Into Electrical Energy And Stores It In The Battery. The Stored Energy Powers The Irrigation System And Street Lighting At Night. The Soil Moisture Sensor Continuously Monitors The Moisture Level Of The Soil. When The Soil Moisture Falls Below A Predefined Threshold, The Arduino Automatically Activates The Water Pump Through A Relay To Supply Water Through The Drip Irrigation Network. Once The Soil Reaches The Required Moisture Level, The System Automatically Turns The Pump Off, Ensuring Efficient Water Usage |
